You probably know that top bloggers earn nearly $10K a month via blog sponsorships. But many of us, especially beginners, have questions about this revenue source. Most newbie bloggers concentrate solely on affiliate marketing, ad revenue, and producing and selling personal products.

However, sponsored blog posts can dramatically boost your income and push your blogging journey to exciting new heights. Through this article, I aim to demystify sponsored blog posts for those hesitant to work with brands.

For the last two years, I’ve been able to consistently earn between $2,000 and $3,500 monthly from sponsored posts, as detailed in my monthly income reports. It might seem risky due to potential instability, but sponsors often find you if you position yourself well.

This has become the primary source of income for my blog, allowing me to treat blogging like a real business. The financial freedom it provided enabled me to move to my favorite location in Europe and initiate a new life there.

Here are my top tips whether you’re a small blogger looking to work with brands, someone aiming to increase their blogging income, or if you wish to double your earnings quickly.

## How to Earn Money with Sponsored Posts

1. **Increase Your Blog’s Appeal**: Before landing your first sponsored post, create a platform that brands would find appealing. This includes maintaining a well-designed homepage, sharing your story on the About page, ensuring easy accessibility to your Contact page, and having legal pages like Terms of Service and Disclaimer. Your blog should also be hosted on a reliable server, should load quickly, be optimized for mobile, and be updated regularly.

2. **Create an Advertisers Page**: Let the world know you’re accepting sponsored posts. It’s much easier to share a link to an advertiser’s page than repeatedly explaining your blog metrics. Here, you provide information that helps potential sponsors decide if you and your audience fit their campaign.

3. **Prepare Your Media Kit**: This PDF file, separate from your website, contains information about your website, its traffic, popularity, audience, content, and your process. Brands may request this, and it lends a degree of professionalism to your approach.

4. **Find Sponsored Post Opportunities**: Join marketplaces for publishers/influencers and advertisers where brands can find you. Here, you list your blog and information about it. Alternatively, you could directly reach out to potential sponsors through email, particularly brands who’ve previously worked with bloggers in your niche.

5. **Continue Growing Your Blog**: Keep building your brand and increasing traffic. When your blog gains enough popularity and visibility, sponsors will approach you, eliminating the need for you to seek them out.

6. **Don’t Underprice Yourself**: Beginner bloggers often undersell their work. Remember, many companies and individuals have significant online marketing budgets, a large portion of which goes to micro-influencers like you. You deserve to get paid well for your efforts.

Remember, you too can generate significant income through sponsored blog posts, even if your blog is small. Keep experimenting and refining your strategies, and the success will follow.
