In light of ongoing inflation, I’ve been exploring Walmart’s variety of “Great Value” products—from butter and yogurt to canned black beans. To be honest, most have been quite satisfactory. I believe Walmart’s success can be attributed to this, as well as their user-friendly Pickup service:
- Once your initial order is placed, you can continue to add or remove items until they start preparing your order. Many retailers do not allow item removal after the order is made.
- Their inventory management has improved, resulting in fewer out-of-stock products and substitutions. This is particularly important for those of us who like to meal-prep for the week.
- If substitutions occur, you are notified in advance, and you have the option to decline them via the app.
- Additionally, you can refuse substitutions during pickup, and they will handle the return for you without requiring you to enter the store.
