Title: Free Printable Worksheets to Help Manage Your Debt
We’ve got something really useful for you – a couple of free printable worksheets to help you in your journey to become debt-free. These include a ‘debt payoff worksheet’ and a ‘debt snowball worksheet’. Choose whichever one works best for you.
Why use these worksheets?
Well, they’re a great way to stay organized, keep an eye on your debt payments and balances, and understand how much you’ve paid off and what’s still pending. Plus, they can help visually explain the debt repayment process, which can make it easier to grasp.
What’s this ‘Debt Snowball’ thing?
Heard of Dave Ramsey? He’s a finance guru who came up with this approach to paying off your debts, starting with the smallest balance owed, regardless of interest rates. The idea is that once you’ve paid off a small debt, you’ll feel motivated to tackle the rest. Many people have found this method really helpful.
Let me quickly run down how it works:
1. List all your debts (excluding your mortgage). This could be credit cards, car loans, personal loans, student loans and so forth.
2. Sort them from smallest to largest balance owed.
3. Make the minimum monthly payment on all debts, except for the smallest one.
4. Direct all your extra cash to paying off the smallest debt first.
5. Then move on to the next smallest debt and repeat. Carry on until all debts are paid off.
Okay, so where do I download these worksheets?
Today, we’re giving away two printable worksheets. All you need to do is subscribe to our newsletter and you’ll get access to our Resource Library, where you can download them.
The ‘Debt Payoff Worksheet’ is a simple tool to help you keep track of each debt payment. It has spaces where you fill out your starting balance, interest rate, minimum payment, actual payments, and remaining balance. This can be used with any debt payoff method you prefer.
The ‘Debt Snowball Worksheet’, however, is specifically designed for the debt snowball method we explained earlier. This worksheet lets you keep track of all your debts on one sheet, and helps you understand which debt you’re currently focusing on.
Now, are you ready to tackle your debt head-on? Grab either the debt payoff worksheet or the debt snowball worksheet now. You don’t need both, just pick whichever seems more useful to you. You can either print them out, or fill them in digitally. You’ll find the download links once you enter your email address.
And remember, taking control of your debt is the first step towards your financial stability. You’ve got this!
