Things I Recommend
- Lodge 7.5 Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Lid – I’ve transitioned from traditional cast iron to enameled cast iron. I prefer using soap for cleaning, and our enameled oven is versatile for stove-top searing, simmering, and oven use. This large 7.5 qt capacity lets me make double batches for freezing.
- SHOKZ OpenRun Bone Conduction Headphones – I’ve been using these for running for about a year. They allow me to hear surrounding traffic for safety while still enjoying music or audiobooks outside. I opted for this more affordable version and it has been durable through sweat and rain.
- Apple Watch SE (3rd Gen, latest) [GPS + Cellular 40mm]. Now priced at $249. I recently purchased one for Kid #2 to use with US Mobile service ($78 a year).
- Coway AP-1512HH HEPA Air Purifier – We’ve been using these nightly for 7 years. Their simple mechanical design is reliable, and I find both the OEM and VEVA brand filters to be effective. If you have kids with allergies, the dust collected is eye-opening.
- Dyson V11 Origin Cordless Vacuum – While it’s pricey, its power and reliability make it worth it. We use it daily.
- Amazon Eero mesh WiFi router system (3-pack) – I’ve had an older model for years, and it continues to operate flawlessly with minimal hassle.
- COSORI Air Fryer 5 Qt – This newer model is fantastic. We use it almost daily, like a microwave, but it keeps food crispy rather than soggy. Cleaning it is a breeze, and it remains in great condition since I bought it in early 2023.
- Vitamix 5200 Blender – A staple in my kitchen for years. Its power and versatility are always available whenever needed.
- KitchenAid Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt Head Stand Mixer – Our mixer has been serving us well for 20 years and continues to impress.
